How do I start a workout?

Open the app and tap the big blue "Start Workout" button. The timer will start automatically. Then add exercises and start logging sets!

How do I log a set?

After adding an exercise:

  • Tap the exercise to open it
  • Enter the weight and reps
  • Tap "Log Set"
  • The rest timer starts automatically

Can I customize the rest timer?

Yes! Go to Settings → Rest Timer and adjust it from 30 to 300 seconds. The default is 90 seconds.

During a workout, go to the Templates tab and tap the "+" button. Give your template a name, and it will save all the exercises from your current workout. Next time, just tap the template to start with those exercises pre-loaded.

Where is my data stored?

All your workout data is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your phone. We don't have servers or cloud storage. Your data is completely private.

Can I export my workout data?

Yes! In the History tab, tap any workout, then tap the share button. You can share your workout summary via Messages, Notes, or any app that accepts text.

Does RepTrack work offline?

Yes! RepTrack works completely offline. No internet connection required. Perfect for basement gyms or areas with poor signal.

How do I delete a workout?

Currently, you can clear all data from Settings → Data → Clear All Data. Individual workout deletion will be added in a future update.

Can I change weight units from lbs to kg?

Yes! Go to Settings → Units and select your preferred unit (lbs or kg).

What does the star (⭐) mean?

The star indicates a Personal Record (PR) - your highest weight × reps combination for that exercise. Keep pushing to see more stars!

Can I turn off haptic feedback?

Yes! Go to Settings → Feedback and toggle "Haptic Feedback" off.

Does RepTrack sync across devices?

Not currently. Since we don't use cloud storage (for privacy), your data stays on your device. Cloud sync may be added as an optional feature in the future.

Is there an Apple Watch app?

Not yet, but it's on our roadmap! We want to make sure the iPhone app is perfect first.

How do I see my workout statistics?

Go to the History tab and tap the chart icon in the top right. You'll see total workouts, sets, volume, and more.

Can I add custom exercises?

Yes! When adding an exercise, just type the name you want and tap "Add [exercise name]". It will be saved for future use.

Try these steps:

  • Force close the app and reopen it
  • Restart your iPhone
  • Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
  • If the problem persists, contact us (see below)
